APE is a tool that enables you to read, edit and save path nodes in GTA San Andreas. Paths are waypoints that are used to randomly spawn NPC's (non playable characters) and vehicles. They have a great influence on how the virtual life inside a city appears. This makes path editing very important for map modifications and total conversions.
This re-release of APE 1.1 BETA also contains my Paths Viewer tool which features real-time GTA San Andreas and GTA IV paths rendering, flag highlightning and a customizeable output style for debugging and format encryption.
